Boaz

Boaz was the kinsman of Naomi and her family.One day Naomi's daughter-in-law Ruth was gleaning from his field,and he noticed her and commanded his servants to show her special treatment.Boaz redeems Ruth,and marries her soon after.They soon have a baby son who is the beginning of the line of David;and his name was Obed.
